SKdigis Challenge #3...Halloween

Welcome to SKdigis Challenge #3,the theme is Halloween, this should be a fun and easy challenge.  Go check out Sonia's shop over at SKdigis, she has TONS of images for Halloween, lots of little kids in costumes that are super cute, pick one up and come play with us!

I printed off this Lil Devil image several times and made some cards.  He is so cute and devilish!!  This one is for my husband...the inside says "Hope you have a Hot and Happy Halloween!!

I colored with copics and used an older paper collection from Junkitz called Extreme Boy from Teresa Collins. I have had this paper for years and thought it perfect to go with this image!
This one says "Is it hot in here..."
the inside says "Or is it just me?"
This one I left without an inside sentiment, but would be fun for an invitation for a date with the hubby...maybe even with some "fun" games to play too!! ;)

See, you can use these images for more than just a Halloween card!! :D

Hope you come play with us, we would love to see your creations! Happy week to everyone! :)

Black & White + 1 SKdigi Challenge

Come join us for a fun challenge over at SKdigis Challenge Blog, this is our second challenge and it's a fun one!

Here is the card I made for the challenge.  I used Happy Frog, colored with copics, cut the lily pad, and the sign from Create a Critter, the black and white polka dot background is from Bo Bunny. Can I just say that I LOVE polka dots....they are so happy!!  Anyways back to the card, the flowers were primas and I just scrunched them together and added a little stickles for some sparkle and a little gem. The words on the sign are doodlebug simply sweet letters, added some twine, and used a border punch for some added interest.

Hope you like it and don't forget to check out the other design team projects, they have some wicked talent!  Hope you all have a great week and thanks for stopping by!

I am entering the following challenge:

Owl-ways Love you.......Critter Sketch Challenge

This is the card I made for our challenge that is based on this sketch from Colleen Spangler. I really like this sketch and it worked perfectly for the image I used from SKdigis who is our sponsor this month.

I love this little owl, he was a lot of fun to color and play with.  I just used scraps that I had, so I'm not sure what brand or collection they come from, basically, I just used paper and colored the image with copics. No extra embellishments or anything.  Well, I hope you like it and I hope you join our challenge over at Critter Sketch, go check out our sponsor SKdigis, there are alot of super fun images, and lots for Halloween!

Hope you all have a great week!!

It's time for another challenge over at Card Cupids. We got to use an image from Sassy Cheryl's, this image is called Noah and Patches and it is so, so cute!  We followed this sketch from Sketch Saturday, I really like the way it turned out, I tend to keep things clean and simple. This image is adorable and doesn't need too much embellishing. I used copics to color and again, went to my scrap drawer for the papers.

Come join us over at Card Cupids, and make some cards for Happy Mail to send to children who are in need of a pick me up. It will make you feel all warm inside and will brighten their day at the same time. Win/Win!!

Call Me.....Maybe?

Ok, so I just had to use SKdigis Talking Bird again to create this card so I could incorporate (like my big, unneccesary word?) the song words/title of Call Me...Maybe.   That song is like a broken record that just spins round and round, gets stuck and won't get out of my head. UGH, and while I might be really sick of that song, I am not sick of this digi...I mean, how cute!
the inside says Maybe?

I used the distressed dots background stamp from Unity, Talking Bird from SKdigis, colored with copics, the letter stickers and torn out background is from the Bo Bunny Ad Lib collection. I googled word bubbles, printed and cut it out, there is glossy accents on the cell phone.  Cute and simple!

Back to School-Critter Sketch Challenge

Over at Critter Sketch , we have a fun Back to School challenge today. SKdigis is our sponsor for September, which is really fun, because I am a part of that design team and today they are kicking off their very first Blog Hop and Challenge!  Come check it out and take a look at the SKdigis store to find some super cute images!

SKdigis

I made these fun treats for my daughter and a few of her friends, I'm a little late, as school started over 2 weeks ago, but it's the thought that counts right?  I just used clear treat bags and made tags with the Happy Fish image, used scraps of paper and washi tape on the tag, and put Swedish Fish in the bags

Here is my card for the Back to School challenge using SKdigis Happy Fish image.  I did a "school" of fish for the front and inside it says "Best Fishes for a Great School Year"

I printed out a couple sheets of Happy Fish in all differents sizes, colored them with copics, added stickles, pattern paper and a tag hanging from twine....I was going for the fishing line look with the twine, not sure if it works or not,but I think it turned out anyway!

I based this on the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches, but won't enter the challenge.....I tend to get messy with the inks and distressing, but after I flipped the sketch, it was what worked for this card.

So come join us over at Critter Sketch, link up your creation and play along!  Hope to see ya there!!

Card Cupids Challenge-Halloween

Card Cupids is up with another challenge that is being sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps.  Our theme is Halloween.

I used these adorable images for my card.  Brat Witch and Wizard . I sat them next to each other and popped the witch up a little bit.  I used scrap paper and the Whoo-ligans collection from Bo Bunny. I cut the bat out of pattern paper, stamped and embossed the Happy Haunting, colored with copics, cut the stars out of paper and put stickles on them. Added the sentiment and the spider sticker attached with black and white twine.

I think this turned out super cute and my daughter wants to send this to her "boyfriend" who is back in Rhode Island at the Naval Academy, I thought the sentiment was cute and as soon as Ash saw it, she pretty much snagged it up so she could send it along with a care package to her friend.

We would love for you to join us over at Card Cupids for our challenge and if you feel so inclined, to also send in some handmade cards to give to children that need some happy mail.  Please check out Card Cupids for the details!
