HB Gamer Boy!

I just had to use this adorable little gamer boy from 2 Cute Ink, it just totally reminds me of my son, who has been a gamer since he was a toddler.  He would play with his dad when he was two years old, at that point and what he didn't know was that his paddle wasn't plugged into the console, but of course he didn't know and played and celebrated when they won.  He's now 24 years old and is more of a serious gamer but he still enjoys a throwback to the old school games now and then!

Cre8tive Hands-new challenge blog

Hi everyone, I would like to share a card made with this adorable image called Cute Snail  from Cre8tive Hands, Michelle is the artist and is jumping off with a brand new challenge blog, you can find it HERE.  She has a lot of super cute whimsical images and I'm honored to be a guest designer to help launch her new blog.  I hope you can all hop over and check out her images and join the challenge, you don't have to use a CH image to join in!

To create my card, I used the Card Essentials svg file from My Scrap Chick, the hello tag is a stamp from Mama Elephant Magic Moments set and the grass is a die from C.C Designs.  I colored with copics, added wink of stella to the shell along with some white line work and some yellow and white twine to finish it off.

Consider yourself Hugged

I went with a simple card using the sketch at Taylored Expressions: Share the Joy Challenge and made this card using the pig stamp and die from the Quick Critters set

I went with the sketch as it ended up working perfectly for the smaller image and I wanted the sentiment more the focus .

I will be sending this to my aunt....I make cards all the time, I just need to start sending them, the challenge at Taylored Expressions encourages you to send the card you make and tell them who you are sending it to, what a great reminder to get those handmade cards in the mail and to brighten someone's day!  I know it always makes me smile to receive something from someone, especially handmade, it makes everything a little more special

Maki A Wish

I've got a bunch of birthdays coming up and needed to get started on some cards, I love this little set from Sugar Pea Designs called Rice Rice Baby, it works so well for a masculine card and the sentiments are so fun!  I used the Sugar Sketch also for the design, colored with copics, used some chalk ink for the sentiment and then clear embossed over that, added a chevron design down the side for interest and added a few gumdrops from Your Next Stamp

Teacup Alice

So I've just added another page to my art journal, this time using the fabulous Teacup Alice digi stamp from Some Odd Girl.  The picture seriously does not do it justice and I took about 25 pictures and none of them truely show the clarity and brightness of the colors.

I colored Alice with copics, paper pieced the teacups and handmade the background and funky whimsy trees.  The black and white checked border are chalkboard paint and a white Kirarina Wink marker, I used distress ink in Abandoned Coral, Wilted Violet, Mustard Seed, I used colorless blender for the flower heads to make some different patterns, added gelatos, letter stickers, opaque white copic paint, and the base is Ranger tissue paper and gesso.  I had so much fun playing with this and am really happy with it!!

Friends

Hi blog friends, I'm sharing my last card with Little Miss Muffet Stamps, I need to take a few things off my schedule and help with family situations.
I'm still going to craft and enter challenges, but just on a more relaxed time frame and no deadlines for now.  So, for my last card I just had to use this image.... I just adore it , it is called Tine Friends from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and I'm not sure if it's the heart on his foot, his elephant butt or the cutie little giraffe just hangin out for a ride, probably all of them together, but I just had so much fun coloring this up!!  There are also several new images in the LMMS shop, the elephants are so darling and there are some other cute images for your coloring/crafting needs.  Don't forget to enter the challenge, the theme has changed to an always Anything Goes.

I colored up my elephant with copics, masked him off and used distress ink for the grass and heart sky, the sun die is from Paperie Ink and the border is a stamp I've had forever and is one of my favorites!  I added a little highlights with a white pen and used Wink of Stella on the foot heart. Also, the grass is a die, and at the moment I can't remember from which company it comes from.
