Ms. Claus

I made this card featuring Ms. Claus from A Random Fan, we are highlighting this adorable image this week and would love it if you popped on over to A Random Fan to check out the DT projects. She is the perfect image to use to get started on your Christmas cards for all those fabulous females in your life!

Here is my card, isn't she just so adorable!?!  I used a bunch of scrap paper and a frame that I had cut out along time ago.  I tend to cut out a bunch of frames and borders whenever I have Make the Cut open and am using it, just so that I have several already cut elements to choose from. The star and pinking circle are from My Favorite Things, and I just added white glossy accents and line work.  Hope you like it!!

Bike Ride with Monet

Hi everyone, we are up with a new challenge over at A Random Fan, it's easy.....Anything Goes!!!

I've used Monet's Bike for my card, colored with copics, added some borders from scraps of paper, the butterflies are from a punch by Martha Stewart and the clouds are a SVG from Miss Kate Cuttables which I then stamped on.  I left off a sentiment until I know who and for what occasion I will send this.

Another year......

I just finished this card for a few specific challenges and for my good friends birthday which is today.  She doesn't check my blog, so I'm good to post it before I give it to her!

The image is called Flappy Birds and you can find it over at From the Heart Stamps, they just had a blog hop with fabulous DT projects and tutorials, I used the tutorial that Calypso posted on the cloud background, I've struggled with clouds before, so the tute came at the perfect time!

I am entering the Blog Hop challenge at From the Heart which is to use one of the tutorials from the hop.... (cloud background)

Hello and happy Wednesday!  We are up with a new challenge over at A Random Fan and the theme is 

BRIGHT COLORS

                                                   
I've used the image Summer Break for this card and I just think she is perfect for bright, fun colors!!  I colored her with copics, used several different scraps of paper, a chipboard flower with a brad for the center, primas, gems, and some ribbon. I also embossed the white oval although it's hard to see in the picture, and then line stitched with white around the edges.
