Here is another awesome sketch from Sonia over at Sketchy Friday.  I used Bo the Dragonfly, colored with copics, used some gems, some primas and pattern papers from My Minds Eye-My Girl 6x6 stack.

Happy Octopus!

I made this card using the adorable Happy Octopus from Skdigis and used the sketch from Challenge 14 over at Sketchy Friday as my inspiration.  Isn't she just the cutest??!!!  Now, I just need a sentiment to go with her.  I was thinking something along the lines of "YOU OCTIPY my thoughts".  I'm not sure if Octipy/Octipi  is a word, is that what you call plural octopus?? Does anyone know! lol...I'm not sure, but if you have any suggestions for a good sentiment, please feel free to comment!! :)

Hello everyone! today we have a new sketch challenge to start our second trimester... how about YOU inspiring us? here is the sketch for the following 2 weeks, add your cards/projects using the sketch. We would love to see what you create.






NOTE: this challenge will last 2 weeks while we get our mojo boosted with your linked cards... some of us have been on DT's for a long time and a two week break will be awesome!

Sketchy Friday #9

Here is the awesome sketch for this week over at Sketchy Friday



I just love the sketches that Sonia comes up with and also her super fun digi images. She is one seriously talented woman!  Come on over and join us...you can use any image, any stamp from any company, just follow the sketch!

Here is my card using this sketch!

 I used the cute SNAIL WITH LADYBUG image and colored with copics.  I used white pigment ink on the edges, white gel pen for the stitching, the clouds and sun are svgs from Miss Kates Cuttables, the border is from my fiskers punch, yellow ribbon, grass is paper cut with Martha Stewart multiple blade scissors. I embossed the clouds with cuttlebug swiss dot folder.  The sentiment is from Red Rubber Designs and the inside says "Is Simply Delightful"   I just love that cute snail!! Hope you will come join us! :)

Sketchy Friday Challenge #7

Here is my card for sketch #7 at Sketchy Friday. I'm loving all Sonia's sketches, they are easy to work with and provides lots of inspiration.  I used Gus the bookworm and the books from SKdigis and pattern papers from Echo Park 6x6 This and That paper pad.  Colored gus and books with copics, added some ink and line work and ribbon.  I totally love this image because I would be completely happy reading all day, I think this would be a perfect card/image  for a Barnes and Noble gift card!!
