Friday Favorites #8

Today...I'm going to talk eyeliner.  This is the liner I used for YEARS...it's  a brow/eye pencil, and I found that it didn't smear and leave me looking like I'd been beaten up or on an all night bender.  I did have to use my trusty lighter though to melt the pencil a little so it would go on darker and smoother. 

It was a happy accident when I used my daughters eyeliner, she had picked up the wrong color and gave it to me. This is what I used and I found that I LOVE it!  It goes on smooth and doesn't crumble.  I ran out and went to pick up more, got a different brand and it was horrible. It crumbled everytime and it smeared.  So, this is my new favorite eyeliner.  It's smooth and the color does stay! I used black/brown and I love it!    These opinions are 100% mine, no compensation, no modeling contracts, just my honest opinion.   :D


 
 

Friday Favorites #4

Favorite Disney character.....  this little guy.  I just LOVE him, he's so cute and funny. Plus, he's blue!!   I love his crazy little personality, his gravely voice and his need to just want to belong and have a family.   Hands down he is my favorite little character.  Next week on Friday Favorites I will share my favorite Disney Princess!

There is a little bit of Stitch love.....I have 5-6 Stitch collectables, picture frame, stuffed Stitches and a Stitch figurine.  Just love the little guy!! :)

Friday Favorite #3

Right now my favorite Netflix tv series is ....................PSYCH!!!  Oh my gosh, if you haven't seen this, you really need to.  I started to watch the first season and kinda lost interest but then a few weeks ago started watching again and LOVE it!  Ash and I watch an episode here and there, and if we have time, we will watch several episodes, one right after the other.   we're Psych buddies, so we can't watch an episode without the other person there!!

  It is a little goofy, certainly not a serious crime drama, but there are so many of those on tv anyway.  This is a little light hearted, a ton of goofy, and the chemistry with Shawn and Gus is plain awesome!  The more I watch, the more I pick up on all the little Shawn-isms...it's just a fun series and I have LOL'd many, many times.  So...if you're looking for a new series to watch, give this one a chance and let me know what ya think.  Or, if you already watch...are you a fan?  Think it's dumb??    Who is your favorite character??  Let's talk! :D

Here is one of my favorite scenes from Season 2 episode 1 called "American Duos"  Shawn and Gus perform Tears for Fears "Shout" ...........SO FUNNY, I had to rewind and watch several times.  I was a child of the 80's and loved Tears for Fears, so I guess this just struck me as hilarious, esp Shawn's hair...perfect!!

Friday Favorites #2

This installment for Friday Favorites #2 is being brought to you by Disneyland/Travel/and Road Trips.

This first picture is a favorite and has been burried in an old photo album, until just recently when Ashlie went looking for a Throwback Thursday pic. 

This is our first family trip to Disneyland. Love the look on my kids face....oh the pure excitement, and we didn't even have to leave the drive way yet!!

Now...this pic is our last family trip to Disneyland, which was taken last year.  Maybe not as excited as they were 15 years ago???  Ha!    This was not long after we left the driveway!! ;)

Friday Favorites

I thought it would be fun to do a post on Fridays  all about what my favorite things are at the moment. Sometimes I might add one thing, two or more. It might be a quote, a food, a pic, a project...who knows, maybe a color combination or something that I find along the way that is new to me or an old favorite!

So here are my picks for the first Friday Favorites.


The Piano Guys.  Ok, if you have heard these guys, then you know what I am talking about.  They are beyond AMAZING!  They are also are local to my hometown and I went to school with Paul (middle in front) and my friends son just started working with them... if you haven't heard of them, please do yourself a favor and look them up on YouTube.  WATCH them, I mean actually watch them.  Steven Sharp plays the Cello and because my daughter plays violin, I'm partial to string instruments, but everyone involved exudes pure JOY, seriously it puts a huge smile on my face just watching them.  They have a bunch of videos, they have a Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Titanium, Coldplay featuring Alex Boye, they have collaborations with other artists, and the videos are a visual masterpiece.  Seriously, I know I'm just rambling about these guys, but they are plain AWESOME and give me serious goosebumps!



This quote. It speaks to me right now. Not that I'm going to go out and change the world, discover some great miracle cure for disease or win American Idol, Top Model or a Noble Peace Prize...BUT, I can change my tiny little corner of the world. I can change me.  I can change my attitude and I can change the way I see life and respond to the challenges and trials that come my way.  THAT....I can do.



Love Potion #31-Baskin Robbins.  So divine, it is only seasonal and my local BR is almost out....I'm hoping to get one more pint before it is all gone until next year.  It is a little bit of heaven for my taste buds! :D
