You are Fabulous!

I used this cute freebie Wryn from Tiddly Inks to enter a few challenges. 


I colored her up with my copics, cut her out with my Spellbinders label 25, inked around the edges, used some twine, a border punch and embossed the green paper with my cuttlebug folder.  The sentiment "fabulous in every way" is from Some Odd Girl.

Friday Favorites #2

This installment for Friday Favorites #2 is being brought to you by Disneyland/Travel/and Road Trips.

This first picture is a favorite and has been burried in an old photo album, until just recently when Ashlie went looking for a Throwback Thursday pic. 

This is our first family trip to Disneyland. Love the look on my kids face....oh the pure excitement, and we didn't even have to leave the drive way yet!!

Now...this pic is our last family trip to Disneyland, which was taken last year.  Maybe not as excited as they were 15 years ago???  Ha!    This was not long after we left the driveway!! ;)

Friday Favorites

I thought it would be fun to do a post on Fridays  all about what my favorite things are at the moment. Sometimes I might add one thing, two or more. It might be a quote, a food, a pic, a project...who knows, maybe a color combination or something that I find along the way that is new to me or an old favorite!

So here are my picks for the first Friday Favorites.


The Piano Guys.  Ok, if you have heard these guys, then you know what I am talking about.  They are beyond AMAZING!  They are also are local to my hometown and I went to school with Paul (middle in front) and my friends son just started working with them... if you haven't heard of them, please do yourself a favor and look them up on YouTube.  WATCH them, I mean actually watch them.  Steven Sharp plays the Cello and because my daughter plays violin, I'm partial to string instruments, but everyone involved exudes pure JOY, seriously it puts a huge smile on my face just watching them.  They have a bunch of videos, they have a Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Titanium, Coldplay featuring Alex Boye, they have collaborations with other artists, and the videos are a visual masterpiece.  Seriously, I know I'm just rambling about these guys, but they are plain AWESOME and give me serious goosebumps!



This quote. It speaks to me right now. Not that I'm going to go out and change the world, discover some great miracle cure for disease or win American Idol, Top Model or a Noble Peace Prize...BUT, I can change my tiny little corner of the world. I can change me.  I can change my attitude and I can change the way I see life and respond to the challenges and trials that come my way.  THAT....I can do.



Love Potion #31-Baskin Robbins.  So divine, it is only seasonal and my local BR is almost out....I'm hoping to get one more pint before it is all gone until next year.  It is a little bit of heaven for my taste buds! :D

Scribbles Challenge

Hi everyone, I have some exciting  news! I've joined the fun over at Scribbles Designs Challenge Blog and am now on the DT!!

This is my first post with them and the first time using their digi images, and let me say, Sandy has some fun, fun images!!  There is a freebie image available on her site here so you can snag that up and play along with us!!  Bugaboo is also a sponsor for this challenge!!

 Here is my card, our theme for this challenge is Celebrate Mom or a Special Women with flowers.  I chose to use this gorgeous image (flower 6)  for my card.  I love how simple and easy it is to work with!  I used papers from the Glitz 6x6 paper pack called Vintage Blue, some pearls, and twine.  Hope you like it!  Come join us and enter for a chance to win and just have some fun!! ODD IDOL Top 20

I made this card using Some Odd Girl's Rockin Kody image to enter the ODD IDOL contest over on their site and I made it through to the TOP 20!!!  Whoo hoo!!  There were 68 entries and they put 20 cards through the first round.   Now, I'm finishing the touches on my card for round two and crossing my fingers that I make it to the next round!! 

Sunshine Mail Challenge-Balloons

Hi everyone...the challenge over at Sunshine Mail is Balloons and is sponsored by Bugaboo.  I chose to use this cute monkey for my card and colored him with my copics.  The clouds and sun are from Miss Kate's Cuttables svg files.  I used my Martha Stewart multi blade scissors for the grass.
