Time Enjoyed is Not Wasted Time
We are up with Day 4 of the new release over at Some Odd Girl which is Build a Background, it is full of mushrooms, bushes, and trees, all fun things to create amazing backgrounds and scenes.
I had fun creating another art journal page and love this quote, I think it goes perfectly with the fishing gnome and girl gnome, I just imagine a pile of books next to her as she sits and reads for hours while her sweetie fishes the day away! ;)
I hope you've enjoyed my project and will check out the inspiration over at Some Odd Girl !
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Crafting by Designs: May ATG
+The Little Red Wagon: ATG but a card
+Artistic Inspirations: ATG

Sending a Line
Day two of the new release over at Some Odd Girl and we have this cutie to showcase! I have a fisherman in my life and this is just the cutest image ever, this will be perfect for a birthday card or a thinking of you...I think the next time I use this image I will use the sentiment "You're a great Catch" :D
I colored with copics, used mostly cardstock, and a couple charms attached my fishing line and tiny staples.
I hope you like and will stop by the Some Odd Girl for more inspiration!

Uniquely You
I'm so excited to be the May Guest Designer at Scrap Our Stash! Scrapbooking has been a love of mine for more than 25 years, I've been making cards a lot lately but am trying to get back to getting my pictures in albums! I am so happy to have come across the Scrap Our Stash challenge blog that is specifically for scrapping. I'm an avid reader and the 1st challenge of the month is inspired by a book cover.....LOVE that!!
So here is my layout, the inspiration picture is below and a little bit of a description below that!
The layers of color in the sunset inspired the background where I added paint and ink to tone down the light purple and leave streaks similar to the sunset. I used coral, pink, lavendar, yellow and a light teal for the colors. I found this picture of my daughter which was perfect to go with the flower requirement, and added a black and white daisy pattern paper that I tinted using my copic markers, and then I have hearts running down the right side of the paper, inspired by the big heart on the book cover. Such a fun book cover and I can't wait to see what you all create!

Hello! You have just come across a totally magical blog hop that Cre8tive Hands is having with the help of Paulette from Create With TLC! You should have arrived here from Karen's blog. If not please head to the main Cre8tive Hands Challenge blog to find out where to start!
The theme of this hop is Fairy Tale Dreams. There will be a winner at every stop PLUS, we will have one GRAND PRIZE winner who will get all of the new releases AND all of the sentiments Create With TLC has created for these adorable new images!
All you need to do to be in it to win is comment at each stop making sure they know you are hopping and not just leaving a comment from a challenge blog!
Here is what I created for the blog hop, this image is also the prize for this stop along the hop!
I colored this darling castle with my copics and added Wink of Stella to the rainbow and flag banners, I used the sentiment to ground my image. If you notice, I only used paper, no other embellishments, the sun and clouds are all paper as is the mat and background papers. I love using digi images on a little bigger scale to really highlight and show off those amazing images.
