Love you!

                I'm sharing this card using From the Heart stamps Loves Me Birdbrain.

 I just love the Birdbrain images, think they are just too dang funny and easy to make up a quick card.  I used the sketch at Your Next Stamp as my starting point for the design and loosely followed it, turning it and using a circle element, keeping it really simple.

               I hope you all have a great weekend, mine will consist of lots of coloring!!  :D

                                                     

My Baby's 19!! WHAAAAT?

Time flies, and I mean it really flies.....my baby girl is 19 today.  I can't believe how fast the years have gone by.............

This girl is pretty much awesome, I'm blessed that she has been such an easy child to raise, the only trouble she's given me is once and awhile a little sassy attitude and sometimes doesn't do her chores, but I've never had to worry about her choices and decisions, she definitely has been a much better person than I ever was at her age!!  It will be fun to watch her go from a young woman as a freshman in college to whatever the future holds.  It helps that not only do I love her, but I really like her and we usually have a blast together....I really can't ask for more than that!!   Happy Birthday Smash!!

Hey Girl!

Happy Monday!!  

Today I am sharing a card made with images and sentiments from the Baby on Board set (congrats)  and the Baby Bunting set (balloons, Hey Girl sentiment and banner on the inside) all found at PAPERIEINK.COM

This is a new line of stamps from Sherry Tran who is the artist from A RANDOM FAN.  

These images and stamp sets are geared for a baby theme, but using certain images and sentiments, keeping it CAS, I made this for a friend who has had a big promotion at work.  Mixing and matching elements from both sets, there really is a number of different ideas and combinations that you can come up with!

Wild Thing!

Happy Monday, I'm here today to share a card made with the lion from the Baby on Board stamp set from PAPERIE INK. These stamps are versatile and can be used for so many things besides a baby card/announcement, just think of the possibilities with these cute little critters!  You can check out the whole stamp set below and the link as well!

I went with a safari/wild thing scene with this little lion and think he is so cute just hangin out under a tree trying to stay cool!

The palm tree is a dimensional sticker from Jolee's by You/EK Success, the sun is two sizes of stitched circle dies from My Favorite Things, the zebra print is an actual card that I toned down with white stamp ink, and then used a mix of two different font rub-on's for the sentiment.

Always Be a Little Silly

Sharing a layout today using a sketch from Let's Get Sketchy.

I used a kit from We R Memory Keepers, a Teresa Collins design.  I love kits as everything coordinates from the papers to the stickers...makes everything super easy!  I went old-fashioned on the circle piece and traced a plate on the paper then traced a smaller one to get the circle outline.  I used one side of the paper to cut out the stars, leaving a red outline around them, then just added more stars and some hearts.  I LOVE these colors and designs. 

 I think this is a fabulous combo for some Disney pics and since I'll be taking my daughter to D-land in Sept, I'm saving the rest of the kit for those pics!

Introducing Paperie Ink

Hi everyone, happy Monday to ya!

I've got some fun and exciting news to share, Sherry from A Random Fan has a new website called
Paperie Ink, a new line of adorable clear stamps and a new FB page!!  I've been asked to be on her design team and of course said YES!!!
                                                     
                                                 

Paperie Ink came about when Sherry was asked to host a baby shower, had a certain idea and couldn't find what she was looking for, so designed her own images.  Of course everyone loved them and the idea for a new line of stamps was created.

These new stamps from Sherry are just adorable, come with fun accessories, sentiments and cute puns!!

I've made a set of note cards using images from 3 different stamp sets.  The note cards are 4x4 and easy to put together.   I've used images from the Gone Fishing set, Stinkin' Love and Somebirdie, you can see the full sets, all the images and sentiments below.

Once Upon a Time with Jasmine

Beautiful in Every Way

I kept this layout really simple using the sketch from Sketch~N~Scrap, it ended up being the perfect sketch for these two pictures I had left from Ashlie's senior photo shoot last year, I've made two 12x12 layouts and the rest of the pics went into a PL album, with the layout coming first to introduce the rest of the pictures. I wanted to keep everything pretty calm and soft with the colors even though this picture is a little more washed out than in real life.  

I just love how these turned out and her photo shoot was so fun!

I'd like to share a card made with this darling image from Whimsie Doodles called Mailed My Heart and it's in the freebie section.  I tried to go a little more shabby chic with this and I'm not quite sure I pulled it off....but I loved the papers and the colors and just didn't know when to quit!!  I used a variety of dies- hearts are Lawn Fawn, flowers and vines are C.C. Designs, the borders are punched and the banner was fussy cut from paper, enamel dots are from Your Next Stamp, I also used Wink of Stella on the heart and her hairbow.
