One for the Boys

Hi everyone, we are up with another challenge over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and our theme is
 One for the Boys!
I've used Bubbles Chester for my card today, I think he is absolutely adorable.  I haven't put a sentiment yet and usually don't until I know who or what occasion I will use the card for.
I colored with my copics, glossy accented up the teacup and the toothbrush, added circles from MFT dies and the enamel dots are from Your Next Stamp and added some white line doodles.

Come on over and join us for your chance to win a gift voucher and to just have fun!!

You Blow Me Away

Happy Monday!  I'm gonna pretend I'm happy that it's Monday and hope that it works! ;)

I'm sharing a card I made using this adorable little dragon from Sugar Pea Designs-Blow Me Away stamp  set.  I used the sketch from the Sugar Pea sketch challenge.  This one was quite different for me, not necessarily the sketch, but leaving so much white space.....it had me in a panic for a little and then just decided to go with it!

I stamped the dragon on watercolor paper and colored with my Faber-Castell Aquarelle pencils, this was also challenge for me as I haven't done a lot of watercoloring, but I liked how it turned out.  I used washi tape, stencil, die cuts, enamel dots and a few different shades of blue.

I hope you all have a great Monday, even if you have to fake it!! :) ;) :D

LOVED-an art journal page

Hiya!  I'm sharing my latest art journal page for Little Miss Muffet Stamps challenge which is ANYTHING GOES!  You still have time to enter, so head on over HERE to share your projects with us!

I've used the LMMS Serkworks Fearless Fairy Tales Beauty and the Beast stamp.  Bell is my favorite princess because of her love of books and I love how edgy this line of stamps are, just a little different than the normal princess look! ;)

I started with a design pattern paper for the base, used matte medium to adhere everything down. I used gelatos, distress paint, script stamp, stencils for some texture on the page and on the castle. The castle is from SVGcuts and was cut with my cricut.  I tore some green cardstock for the bottom and added some ink to that.  I've used my PITT Big Brush Markers for a lot of the shading, the word stamps are from Your Next Stamp and the little heart stamp is from Sugar Pea Designs set called Happy Mail.

I'm super happy with how this turned out, I really love getting a little messy with all the paint and texture paste and I enjoy adding another page to my art journal!

I hope you like it and will come join us at LMMS!! :D

A Fairy Happy Hello!

Isn't this little fairy just the cutest and dontcha just love cute little fairies?  I sure do!  I love all things whimsical, fantastical, mythical and just plain cute-ical.....yeah, I tend to mash up words and sometimes don't make a lick of sense, but that's ok, I accepted my weirdness a long time ago!  ;)

This little one is called Swings N Slides Fairy and you can find her over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps.
I went out of my comfort zone with this and actually watercolored the whole thing, the image and the background. I used distress ink and watercolor paper from Ranger, after adding the blue and green, I spritzed the whole thing with water and then added some brown spatters as well.   I like how it turned out, but definitely need to practice with the watercolors!
I also used the Hello stamp from the Alley Way Stamps, Wink of Stella on the wings (although it's really hard to see) and added some white dots around her wings and her necklace and a little ribbon and bow......  I can definitely see myself using this image over and over again!

I hope you like it and will come join us for the current challenge over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps, the theme is HOT SUMMER NIGHT.

I'm a Little Miss!!

Hi everyone, I'm so excited to be able to announce that I am a new member of the
Little Miss Muffet Stamps design team!  I'm super excited to be working with this amazing team again ( I was a guest dt member last year) and to be working with all the fun stamps available over at LMMS!

For my intro card, I've used Jr Hatter Frankie and colored her up with my copics, using bright colors to match those fabulous papers!  Can ya tell I love polka dots?!!!  Well, I do! :D

The papers are from different companies that I just bought per sheet at my local store, the banner is a die from C.C. Designs, the stitched circle die is from My Favorite Things and then I've distressed all the edges of the layers.  I also added twine, glossy accents to the flower center, pads of the puppy feet and the heart on her bracelet.

I hope you pop on over to Little Miss Muffet Stamps, say hello to the new DT members and check out their amazing projects....there is alot of talent with these ladies!
