Happy Birthday Fairy Style

We are up with a new challenge at Open-Minded Crafting Fun and our theme is 

Fantasy or Fairy Tale

I got to play with this awesome image from A Time for Tea called Butterfly Fairy and Toadstool

I colored her with copics and sponged the background with cat's eye chalk ink in Azurite.  I used this sketch from Your Next Stamp and flipped it. added some butterflies and gems and a handmade banner.

I wanted to tell ya a little about my card that I made using A Random Fan's Moonlight Dream image.  I colored her with copics and paper pieced the moon and star. I added the ribbon at the bottom and did a little bow,  and then ran out of that ribbon so I couldn't do tails for the bow, which makes it kinda hard to see. I added a couple layers of paper for matting and some gems and sequins.  I hand stamped the "dream big" sentiment and pierced around the edge of the white panel for more interest.  I hope you like it and will come share your projects with us!

Isn't she cute?!  This image is from Pholkart and is called   BEACH GIRL  I colored with copics, added some glossy accents to her fins, and the dots on her tube, I had a set of beachy sandy stickers that I used at the bottom, the sticker at the top is from a very old set as is the polka dot paper.

I have to say that I've been on a blue/green kick lately...I think this is my favorite color at the moment and chose it for this challenge! 

I absolutely LOVE this little fairy.  I love all things fairies, elves, dragons, wizards, anything to do with fantasy, and the fact that Bindie here is reading a book, makes her just awesome as reading is one of my fav things to do!

Colored with copics in the BG family, added a doily, border punch that I cut in half to add to bottom and top, some flowers and papers from my stash, some sequins, and the leaves are dies from Paper Smooches.

Honestly, monochromatic was a challenge for me and not one that I had done before, it was really fun!! I hope you will come join us and maybe challenge yourself to do something different!!

 I colored this cutie Q-Pig up with copics, used some glossy accents on the hearts, the frames and clouds are a combination of cuts from my cricut and stamps, with random paper from my stash. I popped him up on pop dots and layered the clouds for dimension.

My card uses the hot cocoa image that I linked to ^^^ I kept the colors in the pink,brown, and cream combination.
