MFT Day 2, OMBRE

I haven't done too much with the Ombre technique, guess this little Camp Create from My Favorite Things is really getting me out of my normal coloring/creating comfort zone!!

With this card, I tried (maybe not successfully) to create a background panel with a turquoise/aqua background, the elephant (Hippo Birdy from Taylored Expressions) is colored ombre using my copics in the C0-C7 range. The balloons are from Paper Smooches and are also colored ombre style with various colors.  I hope I did ok, as I really am new to this technique.....now maybe I'll just have to keep practicing and playing with all the fun new things I'm learning!!

Friends

Hi blog friends, I'm sharing my last card with Little Miss Muffet Stamps, I need to take a few things off my schedule and help with family situations.
I'm still going to craft and enter challenges, but just on a more relaxed time frame and no deadlines for now.  So, for my last card I just had to use this image.... I just adore it , it is called Tine Friends from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and I'm not sure if it's the heart on his foot, his elephant butt or the cutie little giraffe just hangin out for a ride, probably all of them together, but I just had so much fun coloring this up!!  There are also several new images in the LMMS shop, the elephants are so darling and there are some other cute images for your coloring/crafting needs.  Don't forget to enter the challenge, the theme has changed to an always Anything Goes.

I colored up my elephant with copics, masked him off and used distress ink for the grass and heart sky, the sun die is from Paperie Ink and the border is a stamp I've had forever and is one of my favorites!  I added a little highlights with a white pen and used Wink of Stella on the foot heart. Also, the grass is a die, and at the moment I can't remember from which company it comes from.

I used a Happy Birthday script stamp for my background and colored using distress inks and then stamped the balloons with matching colors and some string for him to hold onto.
Check out the stamp set HERE, there are so many cute stamps and many ways to mix and match. There are the cutest focal images and lots of little accessory stamps too! Check out the picture below of the full set and these also have a matching die set that are super easy to use.

Something Beautiful

Hi everyone and happy Saturday to ya all!  I hope you all had a very happy holiday season and are getting a fabulous start to 2016!

I'm up over at the Paperie Ink blog today with this card made with some super cute images from the Christmas Carolers stamp and die set....see these images can certainly be used for more than a Christmas card, the birds...nest and sentiment all suggest a beautiful new beginning and would be perfect for a congrats on a new baby, a baby shower card or maybe even a new home.  There are many ways to customize for whatever your needs may be!

I used a circle die to cut out the center and watercolored the background, adding a little frantage for interest and texure, I also embossed the sentiment and loved adding in a few little music notes, they are so cute!!

Nothing is Impossible!

I just love the little elephants in the Paperie Ink Tons of Thoughts stamp set, and used this little cute one for a project life page that will document my grandbaby's birth at two months premature and the fight be healthy and strong, I think the sentiment is perfect for the pictures that I will be using!

I love the little accent stamps, this pinwheel is so cute!

Season's Greetings!

Hey all, happy Saturday to ya!  I'm sharing my card  using the Christmas Carolers stamp and die set from Paperie Ink.  I created this little winter woodsy gathering scene by using the Birch Tree stencil from C.C. Designs and some off white acrylic paint.  Once it was dry, I used a couple lighter brown copics to add the detail and shading to the trees.  The sentiment is also from C.C Designs Big Christmas Wishes set.

What I really love is how versatile this stamp set is, you can mix and match all the little critters and I think I used them all, there is one more hedgehog that faces the other way and lots of accessory stamps.  You can check out the stamp set at  Paperie Ink and see all the inspiration from the DT and the other stamp sets available!

Love you-Flyin High!!

Happy Weekend!! I hope you all are having a great day!
I'm up today on the Paperie Ink blog with this card.  I've used all the images from the Flyin' High stamp set, aren't these images so cute!! I just love the different images, accessory stamps and clean cutting matching dies!  The bigger clouds were from a single stamp from my stash.

I've colored all the images with copics and kept to a softer color scheme this time, I just love the little airplane and how cute with the banner....there are several words that fit in the banner and would be perfect for all occasions, the cityscape is cute too and look at the hat and bow on the bear and bunny....oh my goodness, the cuteness is too much!
Please head over and check out the inspiration on the Paperie Ink blog, have a great day!!

Happy Saturday! I hope you all had a great holiday weekend or safe Black Friday Shopping!  I'm sharing my card today over at Paperie Ink and all the stamps featured are from the Christmas Carolers stamp set and I've colored everything with distress inks.

There are so many fun accessory stamps in this set and some very cute little critters and birds to play with.  I've used the branch outline and solid stamps to create a wreath, the ornaments also have a outline, solid stamp and matching die, then I added some berries and the cute little birds.  I cut out the birds using the dies and put foam tape to add some dimension along with some twine to finish it off.

I used the sentiment "from our family to yours" on the inside.

Cutest lil' Elephant EVER!

Happy Weekend to everyone!!

I'm so excited to be sharing my first card with Paperie INK.  and I have to say that I am thrilled to be on the design team! These stamps are amazing, the matching dies are easy to use and there are a ton of accessory stamps with each set, and these stamps are seriously so cute...and versatile!

I used this darling little elephant from the Tons of Thoughts set.  I know I'm going to use this little guy quite a bit, I just think he's adorable.  The sun, dandelion and sentiment are all from the stamp set as are the little whispy dandelion petals (are they called petals....I'm not sure, but they're cute!!).

I used a die cut frame, polka dot stencil for the background with white ink, ribbon, twine, the sentiment is embossed, and I watercolored the background inside the frame.  I hope you like and will head over to Paperie Ink and follow us for tons more inspiration from my amazing design team sisters!

Somebirdie Loves You

I would like to share another card using the Somebirdie set from PaperieInk.com.  I've used the sketch and color challenge from My Favorite Things for the design and colors.

I stamped the bird with purple, the umbrella, handle and sentiment with Tuxedo Black from Memento and added Wink of Stella to the umbrella.   This is such a cute and versatile set, the words all come separate so you can make your own sentiment to fit your needs.

Wild Thing!

Happy Monday, I'm here today to share a card made with the lion from the Baby on Board stamp set from PAPERIE INK. These stamps are versatile and can be used for so many things besides a baby card/announcement, just think of the possibilities with these cute little critters!  You can check out the whole stamp set below and the link as well!

I went with a safari/wild thing scene with this little lion and think he is so cute just hangin out under a tree trying to stay cool!

The palm tree is a dimensional sticker from Jolee's by You/EK Success, the sun is two sizes of stitched circle dies from My Favorite Things, the zebra print is an actual card that I toned down with white stamp ink, and then used a mix of two different font rub-on's for the sentiment.

I hope you like it and will go check out Paperie Ink, it's a new line of clear stamps from Sherry Tran/A Random Fan!

Introducing Paperie Ink

Hi everyone, happy Monday to ya!

I've got some fun and exciting news to share, Sherry from A Random Fan has a new website called
Paperie Ink, a new line of adorable clear stamps and a new FB page!!  I've been asked to be on her design team and of course said YES!!!

Paperie Ink came about when Sherry was asked to host a baby shower, had a certain idea and couldn't find what she was looking for, so designed her own images.  Of course everyone loved them and the idea for a new line of stamps was created.

These new stamps from Sherry are just adorable, come with fun accessories, sentiments and cute puns!!

I've made a set of note cards using images from 3 different stamp sets.  The note cards are 4x4 and easy to put together.   I've used images from the Gone Fishing set, Stinkin' Love and Somebirdie, you can see the full sets, all the images and sentiments below.
