Beachy Frog-RELAX

I would like to share my latest card for Sasayaki Glitter Designs, I used this totally chill, relaxed Beach Frog for a fun masculine card.  I colored with my copics and used some fun, bold summer colors. Created the beach and sky, added cloud and sun die cuts, some pattern paper and NUVO dots for some interest. I also pieced together a sentiment from letter stickers and word stickers from my stash.

I totally love this frog, he just makes me smile.  :)

Come join us over at Sasayaki Glitter Designs for challenges and lots of inspiration!

Welcome Little One

Happy Friday to ya! I can't believe we are already mid way through March...wow time really does go by fast, especially the older you get!

I played with this adorable image called BABY GIRL PANDA from Sasayaki Glitter Designs you can peruse Naz's Etsy shop HERE for some super cute images for all occasions.

I have had babies on the brain for a few months now as my daughter is due with her rainbow baby on April 18...only a few short weeks left (super exciting)  and her sister in law is due two days later.  So....I used this cutie to create a shower card for the sister-in-law.

I colored with copics, shading with W5,3,1 and used some fun pinks RV25, 23,21 and I think V09 for the purple hearts.  I used some super cute pattern paper, the flower is a punch as is the heart.  The banners and scallop circle are all dies from MFT and SugarPea Designs.

Happy Birthday Gnomie

Hi friends, happy Wednesday to ya!  I used this adorable image from Sasayaki Glitter Designs called Cute Gnome which is perfect for masculine cards and made a birthday card for my son in law.

I colored the image with copics and created the background with copics as well, I just hand drew the fence and added the sky, clouds and grass! I added some gumdrops from Your Next Stamp and the stitched square, tickets and image shape are all die cuts from My Favorite Things.

Shy in the Sky

Hi friends, I'm posting today with a card using Shy in the Sky from Sasayaki Glitter Designs, I chose this image because our grandson will be turning 1 in a couple weeks and his daddy is a pilot, thought this would be perfect!  Not that he will know, but I do and at this point.....that's good enough!

I paper pieced the airplane, used distress ink and a hand made cloud stencil for the sky, the cityscape is a stamp from Paperie Ink and I used a silver ink pen for the stripe on the plane.  I tend to wait until I know for sure what occasion I want to use a card for before adding a sentiment, but I think Celebrate or Happy Birthday is going to go on the top somewhere.

I hope you all have a great day, hop over to join a challenge or two at Sasayaki Challenge Blog or FB group!

New Beginnings...

Happy New Year to everyone!!  I hope this year brings happiness, joy, adventure and comfort to us all...at least that is what I am hoping for! :)    We have a couple grandbabies coming this year, so that's definitely going to bring some joy and adventure!

This is my first post of 2018 and I've got a card to share for a very special occasion.  I used the image Stella for my card today from Sasayaki Glitter Designs and wanted to make a pregnant/congrats card for my daughter who is due with her first baby April 18!

I colored with copics and used paper from the Garden Party paper pad from Pebbles, added some flowers and sequins.  I LOVE the colors and patterns in this paper pad, so feminine and pretty!

I hope you like my card and will also join us at Sasayaki Glitter Designs for challenges on the blog and FB group!!
