Playing with Flowers

I usually don't play with flower themed digi stamps or regular stamps, for some reason flowers tend to intimidate me a little.  I couldn't help but pick up the Beautiful Blossoms stamp set and the Just Vine Background stamp from Taylored Expressions and I've actually started to get over my aversion to flowers!  These flowers are so pretty and can be colored up quickly.  I also got the matching die set.

So I made a couple different cards using the daisy looking image and did two completely different styles and color combos.

The first card is done in more fallish colors and I used the sketch over at My Favorite Things as the inspiration for the design.

and the second card I colored with contrasting colors. Everything was colored with copics, I used enamel dots and washi tape from Freckled Fawn and used the banner die from My Favorite Things.

A fairy Happy Birthday

I don't know what's more fun.....a cute fairy on a mushroom, a pink sky, blue mushrooms and fairies with purple hair!?!  That's what I love is just coloring up with whatever makes me happy and with this one....a pink sky/clouds made me happy!

I used this darling image from Sasayaki Glitter Designs called Peggy on a Mushroom .  I used a basic A2 card base and the panel and banner are dies from My Favorite Things, the enamel dots are from Your Next Stamp and I colored with copics.

I hope you will stop by over at Sasayaki Glitter Designs as there are a couple challenges each month and a progressive challenge on their FB page and there are a lot of darling images to choose from as well!

Happy B-day!!!

Hi everyone and happy Saturday to ya!

I'm sharing my card today over at Paperie Ink. I used a couple stamps from the
Flyin High stamp/die set.  I stamped several balloons and the cute little bunny, he's got so many balloons that they are carryin him away!

I used a Happy Birthday script stamp for my background and colored using distress inks and then stamped the balloons with matching colors and some string for him to hold onto.
Check out the stamp set HERE, there are so many cute stamps and many ways to mix and match. There are the cutest focal images and lots of little accessory stamps too! Check out the picture below of the full set and these also have a matching die set that are super easy to use.

I hope you stop by to visit us at Paperie Ink!

I used Jr Hatter Mindy for my card today and used some dies from My Favorite Things Blueprints 13, twine, button, and colored with copics.

I'll probably add add a punny sentiment to the inside like Hope you have a Beary Happy Day, or something like that!

Here is the link to the story , basically, he has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and his birthday is coming up next week......all this cutie wants is a box full of birthday cards.

Happy Birthday with Little Hood

Hi everyone, hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was a little too short, even though I had a 3 day weekend....why is it that the weekends fly by and the work week drags????????   Is there some kind of conspiracy and the clocks work at half speed?? Sheesh, it sure sounds like it!!

I did get some coloring done but only got one card made, which is this one that I made using the January Freebie image from Chi Chi Memories called Little Hood.

I colored with copics, all paper is from my long time stash, the circle is spellbinders, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, some silver gems, sticker border, ribbon, the owl is a sticker and then Happy Birthday rub-ons from Pebbles.  I think she turned out cute!

I hope your weekend was a great one and I'm hoping the work week will fly by for those of us stuck at work and who would rather be home coloring!! ;)  :D
