Love.....from Kody!

I colored up cute Kody with Flowers for the challenge over at Some Odd Girl which is Masking/Misting.  I used a heart as a mask and then used Worn Lipstick distress ink for the background. Used some washi, black enamel dots, line work and the Love stamp is from There She Goes Handwritten stamp set.

I think he's such a cutie and love him!  I used copics to color him up, hope you like!! :D

I earned that cake....

Here is a birthday card I worked on today, had to do a masculine card since I hardly ever work on manly things, but the husbands birthday is coming up in April and I figured that for once, I would get something done way ahead of time.  I'm a huge procrastinator and have about 7 different projects in various stages going on at one time.....so YAY ME!! ;)

I used an old stash of papers from Bo Bunny, the Lib Verbiage line, some twine, ink, and the cupcake stamp is from Paper Smooches Hullaballoo set.  Colored up with copics and added some line work.  The inside says

....but got left with the candle!

Too cute!  The image and sentiment are both from From The Heart   and the sketch is from

Open-Minded Challenge #4 Monochromatic

Challenge #4 Monochromatic

I have to say that I've been on a blue/green kick lately...I think this is my favorite color at the moment and chose it for this challenge!

I absolutely LOVE this little fairy.  I love all things fairies, elves, dragons, wizards, anything to do with fantasy, and the fact that Bindie here is reading a book, makes her just awesome as reading is one of my fav things to do!

Colored with copics in the BG family, added a doily, border punch that I cut in half to add to bottom and top, some flowers and papers from my stash, some sequins, and the leaves are dies from Paper Smooches.

Honestly, monochromatic was a challenge for me and not one that I had done before, it was really fun!! I hope you will come join us and maybe challenge yourself to do something different!!

Happy Birthday with Little Hood

Hi everyone, hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was a little too short, even though I had a 3 day weekend....why is it that the weekends fly by and the work week drags????????   Is there some kind of conspiracy and the clocks work at half speed?? Sheesh, it sure sounds like it!!

I did get some coloring done but only got one card made, which is this one that I made using the January Freebie image from Chi Chi Memories called Little Hood.

I colored with copics, all paper is from my long time stash, the circle is spellbinders, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, some silver gems, sticker border, ribbon, the owl is a sticker and then Happy Birthday rub-ons from Pebbles.  I think she turned out cute!

I hope your weekend was a great one and I'm hoping the work week will fly by for those of us stuck at work and who would rather be home coloring!! ;)  :D

Dance!

Here is another card I made, using an adorable image from All Dressed Up, she reminds me of my niece who is in dance and just got new toe shoes for Ballet!  I think I will save this for her birthday or special dance occasion.

I colored with copics, used a lot of BG colors, I kept the color combination pretty neutral with just lots of blue/green.  Everything on here is from my stash, except the cute digi and the little tiny heart word bubble in the flower up by her hand...those are new! I used the frame cut from Lacy Labels cricut cartridge and layer them...that is what the bigger background frame is...two of them glued together.  I love the wood veneer star and put that on a music script pattern flower, there is a crocheted flower with a big brad, some lace, lots of pearls and lots of flowers!  I love how she turned out and love this image!
