Thank you SNOW MUCH

Sending this cute little snowman to my Grandma for a thank you for Christmas gifts....I think he's such a perfect image and fun sentiment to say thanks!

I got him done and squeaked him in time for the sketch challenge over at From the Heart Stamps.  He is the freebie of the month stamp, which is part of a progressive challenge or you get him free with $10 purchase.

I colored him with copics, used Lawn Fawn stitched snowflakes, the stitched background panel and banner from MFT Blueprints 13. I did ink blue around the edges and into the image panel, but the photo doesn't capture that very good.

I used this cutie image from 2 Cute Ink to make this card for the FB challenge, I colored with copics, used paper from the Moments and Memories 6x6 pad from Carta Bella, the snowflakes are from Lawn Fawn, the gumdrops are from Your Next Stamp and the heart is Lawn Fawn, the sentiment is from Some Odd Girl.  You can find this cute image in the 2 Cute Ink shop HERE

Suzie and Snowman

So I grabbed this cutie freebie image from the Treasured Times Rubber Stamps FB page and got her done just in time to enter the challenge.  The image is designed by Erica Nicomedi.  I also colored her up with the colors to go with the My Favorite Things color palette #11.  The colors are grey, red, blue and green.

Warm Wishes

 Happy Wednesday!! Does it just seem like the days and weeks are flying by?  Holy Cow!  It just seems like yesterday and it was Oct 1, and now we are at the end, there are even countdowns now to Christmas.  I really don't like that....let me get through one holiday at a time, too much all at once just drives me crazy!  For me, my Christmas list will still be there the third week of December, so reminding me starting in October isn't going to get me shopping any sooner!  :/

Anyways, I'm done with my little rant and wanted to share this cutie little image from A RANDOM FAN, it's called SNOWMAN and FRIENDS and is for the new challenge which is RED, WHITE & GREEN.

Happy Wednesday! I would like to share my card today that I made for the ANYTHING GOES challenge over at A RANDOM FAN.  The cute image I used can be found HERE

I colored the image to match the pattern papers I had from an older kit, I think it's from Bo Bunny.  I added a few snowflakes and a few sequins to the tree and some sticker letters from the kit.  I really LOVE these colors together and this is such an adorable image, they look all warm and cozy!!

Warm Winter Wishes

Yikes, this is late! I tried to get this done this morning before it went live on Some Odd Girl blog but I think my computer is trying to crash, or it is just old and tired, or it just hates me...I can't decide.  So, I'm finishing this at work...SHHHH!!!   I did rush in early though so it wouldn't run into my work day.

 

So for those that are just joining me or have been away for awhile, I won a guest design spot over at Some Odd Girl...YAY!! I love Kristy's stamps, her images are SO much fun to color up and play with and I've had a blast playing with them in Odd land. 

 

 So I got to use the new digi release which is this awesomely majestic MOOSE.  I colored the moose with copics, the snow is hand torn from white cardstock and lined with stickles glitter, the tree, stars and garland are all from Joys of the Season Cricut cartridge and I colored the background with Distress Inks and my sponge applicator using blues and I think Antique Linen. I did add a little Snowtex to the tree and spritzed the background with spray ink.  I had this cute kraft gift box that I thought would be perfect to put a scarf, beanie and maybe some gloves in for a warm winter gift.  I hope you like it and hope you will go check out my post at Some Odd Girl!!

I made this card for the Sunshine Mail Challenge that will be on the 15th.  Sunshine Mail used to be Card Cupids and they are always in need of cards to be donated and sent in for the kids they are trying to help. If you have any extra cards laying around, or better yet, you want to join us and play with the challenge then go here for the details.  There is a list of kids in need and their age so you can make something appropriate and more personal for that specific child. 



The cute penguin is a digi from Bugaboo and they are the sponsor for this challenge.  I think he's adorable.  I used papers from Bo Bunny Winter Joy collection, the snowflakes are actually photo corners that I just carefully took the corner part off and left me with a snowflake that I used in several places.  I added some gems, some purple glitter dots and some white enamel dots. I used several different fonts for the title. Hope you like it and will consider joining our challenge and send a card in for a child in need.
