Happy Thursday everyone, I'm extra happy today because 1) I am on vacation and anytime I am not at work is a happy time, even if it's just a day off to stay home!! 2) I'm at DISNEYLAND....whoot! I'm with my two kids and we have been here since Tuesday and will head home on Saturday. 3) It's a new challenge over at LITTLE MISS MUFFET STAMPS...the theme is BINGO.
For my bingo I've used flowers/ribbon/LMMS image. The ribbon is folded and underneath the flower on the banners. I've colored up Polka Dot Pals Mystie and used a background technique I learned from my Create and Learn class from Alyce at Kit and Clowder. I love learning new things and think this adds fun detail to such a cute image!
I hope you join us over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps for this fun challenge, we'd love to see which Bingo combination you choose to play with!

Sweet Petunia!
Hi everyone, for my card today I used the darling Polka Dot Pals Petunia, you can find her in the Little Miss Muffet Shop by clicking on the link above. I think she is just darling, Im not sure what sentiment I will use, but she looks perfect for a Thank You, Wishing you a Happy Day, Thinking of You, etc.
I put together this scene using a cloud embossing folder by Darice, the hill dies are from Lawn Fawn, the fence die is from C.C. Designs, the heart is another Lawn Fawn die and the sun was done with a circle punch and the rays I hand cut. You still have time to join us at Little Miss Muffet Stamps for our Anything Goes challenge! :)

Sending Happy Mail
Friday, my day off and the rest of the day to myself...can't get much better than that! I'm posting this and then I have a coloring lesson to work on and a book to read, the rest of my night looks very much perfect to me!
I'm sharing this little gift I made, I made it for my friends birthday, she owns a mailing/shipping store and thought this was just perfect for her to put in her store. The stamp set is Happy Mail from Sweet Pea Designs and I used the colors in the SPD color challenge.
I started with watercolor paper for the background, stamped and colored the mailbox, packages and letters with copics, flicked some white paint, added glossy accents to the mailbox and tied it off with tuelle. The frame is from IKEA...I love these little frames, very inexpensive and so fun!
I hope you all have a great weekend!! :)

Birthday wishes
So, I don't usually do many male cards and not from a little boy to his father, or for a father with a little boy but this image is perfect for an occasion like that and I just couldn't resist using this darling image! I totally LOVE his plaid pants!! This image is from LMMS and is called Spencer and Oscar you can find it HERE.
The ONE FOR THE BOYS challenge is still going on over at LITTLE MISS MUFFET STAMPS, so come over and join us!!
I colored the image with copics, first I did all the fur and then used the colorless copic blender on part of a fuzzy sock to dab on for texture on the fur. I either didn't do it right or should have masked the image with miskit, cuz the brown colors bled into the actual image and I had to go to work with the colorless blender marker over and over and over to save the image. I've seen the technique done before but probably should have brushed up before, oh well...live and learn!
The sentiment is from Your Next Stamp called Whatnot Sentiments Four
