For a sweet baby girl

I made this card based on the color challenge over at Birthday Sundaes with the colors pink, green, white, and using neutrals.  The digi stamp is from Bugaboo Stamps, soooo cute!  This card is going to a lady in my neighborhood who just had a baby girl.

So, I'm trying to cut back on my diet coke habit....I've only had two 44ozers since last Monday, and I'm trying to only have it on Saturdays..........but I can honestly say that I've got such a craving for one right this minute that I don't know if I can wait until tomorrow.......ACK!  I can literally taste it, I want that sweet bubbly goodness RIGHT NOW!!!   Have any of you tried to kick a habit?  It's dang hard....what did you do to succeed?  Or, at least cut back significantly?  Any tips, hints, or ideas would be appreciated!!  ;)

Ok, I'm off to start my day...yeah, it's already almost 11:00, I've been up since 6:30, but haven't gotten much done yet. So, off the pc and on to errands and chores!  Happy Friday everyone!!

  1. Oh could this card be any sweeter?!? How adorable!
Thank you so much for playing along with us at Cupcake Inspirations!
    Rene :D

  2. Very cute card! I gave up Diet sodas for about a month and then traveling end up drinking them again. Trying to go cold turkey as of today. It is so hard!

  3. Cute card!

re: pop drinking - Good luck! You can do it!

Everyone is different, but "cutting back" didn't work for me - I had to cut it cold turkey. And I did, on Jan.1. It's the most addictive thing I've ever had to kick. It was awful! I'd say it took 2 full months to not be cranky about it, and it's still hard.

Now the deal I have with myself is that I can have a can if we have pizza (how can you eat pizza without pop?!). I'm finally at a point where I don't feel like it's going to throw me back into cravings and addiction.

  4. one word----ADORABLE! what a cute image!

  5. O-M-G Sharla, this card is freaking CA-UTE! Seriously, I love everything about it! As for the DC, I have no suggestions. I'm hooked on coffee but only allow myself one cup a day. But boy do I enjoy that one cup a day :) That's what I get out out of bed for!

  6. This is so sweet. Thank you for playing along with Birthday Sundaes!

  7. Oh how cute; love the image! Love the colors!

  9. those bugaboos just crack me up, this one is too too cute.
thanks for playing with us at Cupcake Inspiratons. I hope you come back again.
I know your neighbor is going to love this card.

  10. Oh that card is so sweet. What a cute image. Love it! I weaned myself off of diet soda a few years ago. The biggest thing that helped me was brewing iced tea all the time to have a beverage replacement and a caffeine replacement. It's not the same, but it helped. Automatically ask for water where ever you go and don't even allow soda to be an option. It's SOOOO HARD, but worth it. I really miss the fizz but when I need it I mix some diet 7-up with some V8 fusion juice and that feeds the craving. Then I go back to tea and water. You can do it! Good luck.

  11. Oh I hear you on the pop habit. I have been trying to kick drinking Coke for a while now. I did quit a few years ago. The only way that worked for me was "cold turkey"

Your card is so adorable. Love the colours and that image is just so cute.

I have a card for you and all the other women who left such sweet comments on my blog for last week.
