Welcome to the Surprise Birthday Blog Hop for Sandy!!!
Sandy is having a birthday today! What better way to celebrate our fearless leader's birthday than with a crafty (surprise) hop!? Every stop along the way has a surprise birthday project for Sandy created by each of her design team members. Sandy is such an inspiration to all of us and she has been so supportive and generous. She's a great friend and a very talented and artistic woman! Happy Birthday, Sandy!
Here is my project for Sandy: I combined the frame and flowers from Sandy's shop, stamped, embossed and colored the background, added some ribbon and a sentiment. Everything was colored using a water based paint. I cant remember the brand of paint, I got them at Michaels, in a set of 4. I will search to find the name, they are Twinkling H2O's from Luminarte, they are super pretty and have a shimmer to them. The sentiment and tag are stamps from My Craft Spot, called Tiny Tags, I won them on a blog hop and totally love them!!
Anyway, I hope Sandy likes my card, I sure loved making it and that frame along with the flowers just worked better than I imagined!!

Sharla, your card is just so beautiful. I love the effect of the water paints and the background is just stunning. The colours look beautiful. You've put a lot of hard work into this gorgeous card. I hope you are okay with my using it in an upcoming post over at Scribbles Designs. I had wanted to show people examples of how to use Sandy's frames and yours is just perfect for that post.
