Wedding stuff--part 1

first off, I scrapped a few pics of Steve and myself based on the sketch challenge over at 2peas, I used these two layouts as part of the decor for the wedding. At this table I also had a couple of scrap pages with a snapshot of us so that people could sign their names if they wanted. My super cool friend made the vases on the right of the layout and we used those for some of the centerpieces on the tables.

see the flowers in the birdcage??? They were made from cupcake huh? I can't remember where I saw the idea, I read and looked at too many blogs, tutorials and idea sites to keep anything straight in my head. They were super easy to make and turned out pretty dang cute!
Here's a close up of the paper flowers..

the next thing I made was cupcake stands, again, I got the idea from a blog and can't remember which one.....but they are stinkin cute!

I made them from wooden candlesticks and a flat round wooden disc found at Joann's. I painted some blue and some black to match the colors.
Well....that's it for now, I'll be back with the treat table and cupcakes next post...ooooh cupcakes, YUM!!! ;)
